About Manufacturing
Our manufacturing team includes around 190 professionals across production, process support, EHS, technical support, utilities, and facilities. We work collaboratively, following Lean principles, to ensure high-quality, efficient production. You'll be part of the Technical Support, Utility & Facility team, consisting of 24 engineers and technical experts.
The Role: Automation Engineer
As part of our investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing and automation, we're strengthening our Technical Support & Utilities team with an Automation Engineer. You'll play a key role in optimizing production and utility systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production and utility system optimization, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Participate in troubleshooting with utility technicians and process owners.
- Maintain and update electrical documentation, PLC backups, and frequency converters.
- Work on system improvements, testing, and commissioning of production machines.
- Handle compliance documentation and deviations.
About You
We're looking for a team player with technical expertise in automation and GMP production. Ideally, you have experience with:
- Siemens PLC software (S5, S7, TIA) and PLC troubleshooting
- Frequency inverters (e.g., Danfoss)
- Machine safety protocols and automation instruments
- Electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshooting
