A leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for accelerating growth in key markets by spotting opportunities, cultivating strong customer relationships, and positioning our products as solutions to major industry challenges.
Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
- Discover and cultivate new business opportunities in targeted markets.
- Foster and sustain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering customized solutions.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to inform customers about the advantages of our products and services.
- Formulate and execute business development strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets and organizational objectives.
- Examine market trends, customer data, and sales metrics to pinpoint growth opportunities and areas for enhancement.
- Resolve customer issues by proposing effective solutions and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Conduct persuasive presentations and product demonstrations for customers, industry stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Collaborate across functions with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to create and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in infrastructure and utilities.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and pipeline activity for senior management.
Requirements for the Business Development Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of Business Development or Sales experience, preferably in construction productions/building materials or related industries.
- Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market research tools.
