The Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on logistics services such as ocean, air freight, warehousing, and transport.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, including PV module producers and racking manufacturers.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with client needs.
- Provide input on pricing strategies, operational processes, and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and present insights to senior management.
- Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and process optimization.
The Business Development Manager will have the following requirements and skill sets:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the logistics or renewable energy industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy market and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
