Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 + Bonus + Pension Plan

What You Get to Do:
- Troubleshooting and Support: Act as an electrical engineering resource to assist Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting machine control problems when additional expertise is required.
- Project Management: Manage machine and equipment upgrade projects, including investigations, cost estimates, installations, and start-up processes for both capital and expense projects.
- Equipment Familiarization: Learn new capital equipment operations, control structures, designs, and hardware to build knowledge and proficiency for effective maintenance support.
- Assisting Project Engineering: Support Project Engineering with equipment installation, checkout, start-up, and training as necessary.
- Safety Implementation: Ensure awareness of industry standards, including National and State Electrical codes and NFPA70E (arc flash) codes, and strive to improve safety practices.
- Preventative Maintenance: Be a key resource for the completion of preventative maintenance on electrical substations and high voltage switchgear, including documentation, testing, and follow-up actions.
- Team Participation: Participate as a team member on equipment project teams, safety teams, and continuous improvement teams to enhance safety, quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.
What We Value:
- Project Management & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to manage projects, troubleshoot electrical issues, and offer effective solutions in a timely manner.
- CAD Skills: Preferred experience with CAD for designing or interpreting electrical systems.
- Plant Power Distribution Knowledge: Familiarity with plant power distribution systems, control systems, and PLCs.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use measuring devices, read mechanical and electrical drawings, and develop charts and schedules for system optimization.
- Safety Awareness: General understanding of industry safety work practices, including electrical safety standards.
