Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of customs brokerage operations in accordance with legal requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of import/export transactions
- Develop strategies that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies at both national and international levels
- Oversee daily communication between brokers/customs agents on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required (preferably in Logistics)
- 7+ years' experience working directly within a customs environment.
Skills
The successful applicant should possess expertise/skills/competencies/experience related to one or more fields including but not limited to:
* Strong knowledge base regarding regulations governing imports/exports throughout Europe
* Knowledgeable about current trends impacting business practices specifically relating to changes made by EU officials
