Key responsibilities:
- In your role as a director, you will pitch and oversee strategic projects pertaining to digitisation, enterprise-wide transformation, and procurement reform.
- Establish yourself as a reliable resource for clients, helping them to set up and run their procurement operating model.
- Your knowledge of leading e-Procurement platforms like Ivalua, Coupa, and Ariba will be very useful when advising clients on transformation projects.
- Provide technical and functional expertise to clients during the implementation process.
- You will be responsible for sharing this knowledge within the organisation and converting it into strategic thought leadership, therefore being up to date on market developments and trends will be crucial.
- In addition, you will be in charge of overseeing business development initiatives, which include seeking out new business prospects, creating client proposals, and organising persuasive pitches.
- With your leadership and experience, expand a productive team of procurement specialists currently in place with the goal of spearheading our next expansion.
Your profile:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in management, business information systems, business administration, or a related field
- Procurement consulting expertise of at least eight years; familiarity with primary solutions (Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba) is a significant advantage;
- A critical and analytical attitude that challenges facts, intellectual curiosity, organised thought, and creativity;
- Strong written and spoken communication abilities in German and English; proficiency in any other language is a bonus
- Travel readiness (both domestically and at our customers' locations in Switzerland)
