DSJ Global is hiring a Director of Logistics and Distribution for lead food distributor in Atlanta, GA! Our client is a lean-cross functional team looking for a strong culture fit to lead their logistics and transportation team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, align with leadership and implement the strategy for executing supply chain with high service standards at great prices.
- Ensure the security of supply of products.
- Develop and train a team of five to manage supply chain strategies
- Develop and foster 3PL business relationships with freight and distribution partners.
- Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that enable tracking of cost and service drivers of freight and distribution management.
- Perform distribution network cost optimization analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 7+ years of supply chain, logistics, and/or distribution experience.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and distributors.
- Strong analytical skills.
