JOB SUMMARY
In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to our Supply Chain Department, guiding the entire vendor selection process, from initial options to the ultimate selection. Leveraging procurement and financial tools, you will serve as the vital link between suppliers, supply chain management, and actively engage in issue resolution. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the execution of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and manage follow-up activities for sourcing.
- Under the guidance of the Senior Vice President and Vice President of Purchasing and Distribution, execute procurement initiatives.
- Ensure timely order follow-up, vendor verification, price auditing, and maintenance of essential records.
- Conduct evaluations of suppliers to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor stock levels to facilitate efficient operations.
- Support other purchasing or accounting tasks as delegated.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
While this role does not involve supervisory duties, it holds significant autonomy and discretion within the purchasing domain.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in sourcing and/or supply chain management within the foodservice chain sector.
- Demonstrate familiarity with business administration procedures, techniques, and ethical practices.
- Exhibit expertise in creating and overseeing vendor Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Showcase strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Display proficiency in working autonomously, managing multiple tasks, and setting project priorities within a team.
- Display a high level of proficiency in Excel.
