Job Title: Director of Vendor Management

Compensation: $150,000 - $185,000 base salary + bonus
Job Description: A respected client in the Financial Services industry is seeking a highly skilled Director of Vendor Management to lead their IT vendor management team. This role involves developing and implementing vendor management strategies, ensuring compliance with company policies, onboarding, and optimizing vendor performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services and highly regulated environments, vendor management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute vendor management strategies.
- Oversee vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Lead negotiations and manage vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address vendor-related issues.
- Implement best practices for vendor management and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Preferably a Masters degree or evidence of advanced education or certification.
- 10+ years in strategic supplier relationship management and IT sourcing/procurement
- 7+ years within financial services industries or IT functions.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
