JOB DESCRIPTION:
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for
- Adherence to all OSHA and EPA programs.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, and other regulatory matters.
- Overseeing EHS programs, encompassing worker's compensation investigations, handling property damage incidents, and implementing measures to minimize injuries and hazards.
- Developing and Implementing EHS plans and procedures in accordance with internal and external regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
- Certification in CPR/AED/First Aid
- OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour Certified
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of safety experience, with prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in safety codes, OSHA regulations, hazardous material handling, and emergency preparedness, along with the ability to effectively train others on these topics
