EHS Manager - Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure all workplace safety documentation and reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and HR, to promote safety and EHS initiatives across the organization.
- Drive a culture of safety awareness through continuous improvement programs and employee engagement.
- Monitor and track key EHS metrics, reporting findings to senior management and recommending improvements.
- Oversee the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment (appliances, electrical, or electronics industry is a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices, including OSHA, EPA, and local laws.
- Strong understanding of safety management systems, risk assessments, and emergency response protocols.
- Proven track record in implementing successful EHS programs and driving safety culture improvements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in EHS-related fields (e.g., CSP, CIH, or similar) is a plus.
