We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Electrical Engineer to help drive cutting-edge solutions at our state-of-the-art facility in Morristown, TN.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining electrical systems for our manufacturing processes. You'll work with a talented team, contributing to the development of next-generation technologies that power the heart of our operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
* Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues in the manufacturing process.
* Drive continuous improvement in electrical controls and process monitoring.
* Oversee the installation and start-up of new equipment.
* Implement automation to enhance product quality.
* Modify machines to optimize performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
* Lead projects to meet business objectives, with occasional travel and flexible hours as needed.
* Administer annual arc flash training and track compliance.
* Ensure processes comply with sanitary standards and meet business requirements.
* Provide electrical design expertise for components, equipment, and processes.
* Support continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, cost, and asset management.
* Assist in troubleshooting and improving manufacturing equipment.
* Develop machine centerlines, maintenance procedures, and training materials.
* Manage electrical fabrication, operation, installation, and repairs.
Qualifications:
* In-depth working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC 500 and 5000
* FANUC robotics experience - preferred
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)- preferred
* 3-5 years' experience programming in a manufacturing environment- preferred
* Strong internship experience considered for junior candidates
* Computer/PLC/HMI programming experience with relevant drive and control systems required
* Strong analytical skills and exposure to project management
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD or comparable electrical design software
* Batch or liquids blending experience preferred
