Electrical Engineer Position in Queensbury, New York
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This permanent position is based in the vibrant community of Queensbury, NY. The role demands creativity and innovation as you will be part of dynamic projects that involve power electronics design work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create electrical designs using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Analyze project requirements and provide innovative solutions for complex problems involving POWER ELECTRONICS components within predefined timelines.
- Customer & Project Support - Work directly with customers and engineering firms to answer technical questions throughout the project life cycle (from pre-award to post-energization).
- Approval & Quality Assurance - Follow up with customers to get design approvals and collaborate with the quality team to improve designs based on past lessons learned.
- Production & Supplier Coordination - Ensure manufacturing teams have the necessary design details and part numbers. Help find alternative components if availability becomes an issue.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Engineering)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience related to electrical design.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
