Responsibilities:
- Lead the Electrical team in maintaining an injury-free and incident-free environment within a continuous manufacturing setup, aligning with management philosophy.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical department activities to enhance EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support production processes to optimize the manufacturing enterprise and deliver value to the business.
- Facilitate team development, employee skill enhancement, problem-solving, and resolution, fostering commitment, ownership, and accountability.
- Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement and proactively identifying hazards, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor the quality of craft work, provide guidance to maximize efficiency, and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
- Conduct safety training for crew members, offer coaching, and manage team development and performance.
- Perform data entry and generate reports as necessary.
- Work in a unionized environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates in electrical engineering or higher preferred
- 5+ years of electrical experience in a heavy industrial setting.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or a military environment.
- Working knowledge of PLC (Allen Bradley PLC Studio 5000 preferred), power distribution, HMI, drives, remote troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with production and maintenance reporting applications.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or similar problem-solving tools.
- Track record of leading improvement efforts in Reliability, Predictive, and Preventive Maintenance.
