Engineering Manager for Leading Consumer Goods Manufacturer in Sioux Falls, SD

Salary: $120,000- $144,000 + Relocation Package

Summary:
A global leading consumer goods manufacturer is looking to bring on an Engineering Manager at their site located in Sioux Falls, SD. This role is more of a people leadership and general management position rather than a technical role. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. This is an exciting opportunity as the facility is doubling in size, the Engineering Manager will have 10 direct reports initially, with additional headcount as the facility undergoes expansion.
The Engineering Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage 10 direct reports providing training and mentorship where needed
- Work cross functionally with other departments in general plant management
- Manage large and small projects
- Monitor and manage performance of all projects and reports communicating updates to leadership team
The Engineering Manager will have the following requirements and skill sets:
- B.S. degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Minimum of 8 years working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading and managing projects
- Understands Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies and how to implement them
