A leader in the produce industry is looking for an experienced Procurement Analyst to join their team.
This role is on-site in Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the organization's supply requirements and research potential suppliers.
- Ensure that the company procures materials and products efficiently while adhering to quality standards and cost-effectiveness
- Proactively expand the supplier base by strategically sourcing new vendors
- Identify new opportunities
- Negotiate favorable procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers
- Analyze data and present findings to key stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of global sourcing experience
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- A vendors and stakeholders
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Experience sourcing for packaging preferred
