Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet and exceed ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Ensure all quality processes and procedures are documented, maintained, and followed consistently across the organisation.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with QMS requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Directly lead and manage a team of six quality engineers and technicians, providing mentor ship, training, and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency within the production process, working closely with the Plant Manager and production teams.
- Implement quality control measures and best practices to minimise waste and reduce production costs while maintaining high standards of product quality.
- Drive initiatives to streamline processes, reduce variability, and enhance overall production performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards and experience in developing and implementing QMS.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of quality professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive productivity improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, or other relevant quality management certifications are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in German on a professional level is a must.
