As the Head of Supply Chain Operations Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies, optimizing processes from procurement to distribution, ensuring timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.
- Lead and mentor a skilled team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
- Oversee inventory management, materials production, and production planning, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing risks of shortages or excess inventory.
- Monitor and enhance supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring consistent quality and reliability of materials.
- Implement best practices in logistics, distribution, and transportation to ensure efficient and compliant movement of products to global markets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to identify areas for operational enhancement and cost reduction.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards, ensuring all supply chain activities meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in supply chain operations management within the medical devices or related industry at a senior management level.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning.
- Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, as well as ERP and CRM systems.
- Fluency in English and German is necessary.
