We are on the lookout for a Inspection & Packaging Tech Lead to join a Pharmaceutical company in the greater Boston Area. Our client, manufactures and commercializes a dermatological topical skincare product.
My client is one of the largest specialty generic pharma companies in the world with global revenues exceeding $5 billion.
As the Inspection & Packaging Tech Lead you will execute plans, schedule, and expedite the visual inspection, labeling and packaging of parenteral pharmaceutical products to meet sales requirements according to current Good Manufacturing Practices and following Standard Operation Procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Directly oversee personnel through regular presence in the inspection/packaging areas to optimize performance
- Manage all kit inspection, packaging and labeling operations in accordance with direction from the Production Manager and commercial forecast
- Ensure proper operation of Inspection/Labeling/Packaging equipment
- Assign daily duties to group to accomplish production goals utilizing personnel effectively
Qualifications:
- 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of cGMPs
- Biotechnology Certificate, or equivalent experience, preferred
