As an IT Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for information technology products and services. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the organization's IT needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure advantageous agreements.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and source IT products and services, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Cost Management: Optimize procurement costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Monitor market trends and negotiate favorable terms with vendors.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Assess and manage risks related to IT procurement. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other relevant departments to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the IT procurement process. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
