Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for creating global strategies? Our client, a leading manufacturing company with over 10,000 employees is seeking to hire a Lead Buyer Industrial Services. In this role based in Lille and reporting to the Procurement Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global sourcing strategies within the industrial services category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop global sourcing strategy for indirect materials including industrial services.
- Drive cost savings initiatives through vendor consolidation & negotiation
- Ensure quality standards are met by suppliers
- Work closely with key stakeholders across different regions of business
to identify requirements
Qualifications:
To qualify as our ideal candidate we require individuals who have experience working on complex projects from conception till implementation. Additionally candidates should possess;
-Educated degree level or equivalent preferred but not essential
-Proven track record of delivering results driven solutions at pace
-Demonstrable ability negotiating contracts worth multi-million euros
-A strong communicator able to effectively work cross functionally
