Role Overview:
As a Regional Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations across the region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely and cost-effective distribution of our products, managing warehouse operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for Customer Service and Costs optimization along the logistic chain. You will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with various departments, and implement strategies to enhance our supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage regional logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Oversees company budget (Warehousing, Distribution and Inbound)
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Manage budget and financial aspects of logistics operations.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the logistics function, aligning with the company's environmental goals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics management
- Experience working in the FMCG
- Proven track record of successfully managing regional logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food and beverage logistics is a plus.
