A leading manufacturing company is in search of a Manufacturing Manager with Injection Molding experience.
This Manager will be responsible for leading the injection molding operations at the facility. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee the daily production activities to guarantee goals including, timelines, quality, and volume are met. This person will be expected to supervise and improve the Injection Molding process in the facility with a hands-on mentality.
The Manufacturing Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Supervise injection molding production to guarantee the deadlines are met
- Ensure the upkeep of facility equipment
- Guarantee training and procedures and compliant with Six Sigma Continuous Improvement
- Implement LEAN principles within the facility
- Keep log of facility data
- Boost plant performance and make suggestions to continue to enhance performance
- Understand the latest updates to processes, industry, and equipment
- Understand and act on customer needs
The ideal Manufacturing Manager candidate will have the following skillset:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years' experience with Plastics Injection Molding
- 2+ years as manufacturing supervisor
- LEAN manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma certification a plus
