What will you be doing for us
- Mechanical design and construction of ship mechanical engineering systems such as daggerboards and steering gears. The work includes all engineering steps from design to documentation. In addition
to the mechanical components, the systems consist of hydraulic components and also include steel structures. - Engineering must be coordinated with stakeholders across the entire value chain (manufacturing, external engineering, customers, suppliers
) . - Preparation of specifications and documentation according to class requirements.
What we expect from you
- A successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study or completed training as a technician

- Good knowledge of 3D CAD is required - preferably in Solidworks
