The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine the root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering - preference in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
