Position Overview:
This client is seeking a National Key Account Manager to join their dynamic and growing team in Germany. As a key part of their global freight forwarding business, you will be responsible for managing and expanding their diverse portfolio of customers, with a focus on air and ocean freight services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with national key accounts to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and expand the customer base across a diverse range of industries, with a primary focus on air and ocean freight services.
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients, providing high-level support and strategic direction to ensure customer needs are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customised solutions and identify cross-vertical opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of freight solutions, optimising supply chain management.
- Develop and implement account strategies to drive growth and profitability in line with the client's objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to ensure the client remains competitive and innovative.
- Ensure that all customer queries are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of service at all times.
- Report on account performance, including revenue and profit tracking, forecasting, and KPIs.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in key account management within the freight forwarding industry, with a focus on air and ocean freight.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation solutions.
- Experience working with a diverse portfolio of customers across various industries
- Ability to work in a cross-vertical approach, understanding the needs of various industries.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential for communication and client interactions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
