A dynamic and rapidly expanding international provider of contract logistics services is seeking a Site Manager Contract Logistics to take on a leadership role at one of their sites in Rhine-Main as part of their exciting growth strategy. After an in-depth training period at one or more of our existing locations, you will support and manage a future site in Germany.
With global sales of over 2 billion euro, the company operates in 300 locations across 20 countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa with 40,000 employees, including over 1,000 in Germany.
Their diverse customer portfolio spans industries such as retail, healthcare, FMCG, and e-commerce, enabling them to offer innovative and automated logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, expand, and develop a large-scale warehouse site (200+ employees)
- Ensure efficient workflows while maintaining quality and adhering to QHSE certification requirements.
- Manage and develop shift-working teams with a focus on motivation and performance.
- Independently support dynamic international clients and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Oversee site budgeting, including reporting to the German management team.
- Plan and deploy resources based on operational demands.
- Continuously optimise logistics processes and define/implement new logistics projects.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on performance, financial, and quality KPIs.
- Act as a liaison between all departments at the regional headquarters.
- Conduct contract compliance and deviation analyses.
- Represent the site in both internal and external communications.
Your Profile:
- University degree in logistics, business administration, economics, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role with leadership of large, multi-level teams.
- In-depth knowledge of contract logistics, particularly in e-commerce, FMCG, or healthcare.
- Proficiency in methodologies like Lean Management, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
- Strong skills in MS Office and warehouse management systems.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organisational levels.
