Position Overview:
Seeking a Plant Maintenance and Facilities Manager for a new processing facility in IN. This company continues to expand and innovate, offering high-quality products to an ever-growing consumer base. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and systems necessary for plant operations and support functions, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in all maintenance processes and procedures.
- Plan, implement, and manage maintenance programs for utilities and facilities, covering production equipment, gas, chillers, air compressors, hydraulics, lighting, emergency generators, electricity, HVAC, refrigeration, water distribution, wastewater treatment, fire protection, thermal fluid heaters, and cooling towers.
- Prepare and manage the department's annual budget.
- Manage both in-house maintenance staff and contract maintenance services.
- Work closely with third-party partners to optimize system maintenance and controls.
- Lead energy conservation efforts by ensuring efficient use of resources like water and energy, while maintaining plant productivity.
- Collaborate with utility providers to manage rate changes, communicate planned/unplanned utility outages, and develop load-shedding arrangements.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in plant management and facilities oversight.
- Ability to work irregular hours and days as necessary.
- Extensive knowledge in PLCs and controls troubleshooting.
- Motivated, self-directed individual with strong leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
