Located in Lakeland, Florida, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead our chemical manufacturing plant.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant performance, safety, production efficiency, and personnel management to ensure the plant operates smoothly and meets production targets.
Key Responsibilities of the Plant Manager Include:
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage all plant operations to optimize production efficiency and output while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Personnel Management: Supervise and mentor a diverse team, including production staff and engineers.
- Production Planning: Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand and inventory targets, optimizing resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous quality control measures.
- Budget and Cost Control: Manage the plant budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
The Qualifications of the Plant Manager include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field .
- 3-5 years of experience in managing within a chemical manufacturing plant
- Strong communication and people skills
- Lean/ Six Sigma Experience
- Demonstrate expertise in handling Hazardous Materials
