DSJ Global is currently looking for a talented and experienced Procurement Lead to join one of our clients in the Food and Beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all direct procurement activities within this company's supply chain management system.
This role is currently being offered as Remote out of the **Fort Lauderdale, FL area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies that focus on cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
- Lead a team of procurement professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to production planning & scheduling team
- Ensure supplier performance meets or exceeds contractual expectations
- Manage relationships between suppliers/vendors/contractors/internal stakeholders
Qualifications/Skills Required (not exhaustive):
- 6-8 years procurement experience, preferably in the FoodBev industry
- Leadership Skills - ability inspire/motivate/manages others effectively
- Supply Chain Management experience required
- Direct Procurement Experience specifically related toward Food Production/Food Retail industries
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing principles/practices/purchasing techniques/negotiation tactics
- Strong communication/collaboration/influencing abilities are essential factors as well as having problem-solving approach towards issues at hand.
