Responsibilities:
- Strategic procurement of machined components for valve production in the refrigeration industry.
- Develop a product group strategy in line with group guidelines.
- Analyse and monitor international procurement markets to formulate procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to cultivate efficient suppliers.
- Prepare tenders and conduct independent contract negotiations.
- Perform price and value analyses and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Participate in make-or-buy decisions and assist in their implementation.
Your profile:
- A completed degree in economics or technology, or technical training with further qualifications (e.g., as a technician), with extensive practical knowledge.
- A minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of defining and implementing scheduling strategies within an ERP system.
- Proficient in Office 365, with advanced ERP knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics/Axapta or SAP preferred); Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent German and fluent English.
