Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage sea freight products and services to meet market demands.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, carriers, and key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and freight rates to optimise costs and service quality.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and customs requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Analyse performance metrics and implement process improvements.
Support the sales team with product expertise and tailored logistics solutions.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the sea freight division.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sea freight management within the freight forwarding industry.
Strong knowledge of ocean logistics, carrier relations, and global trade compliance.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic product plans.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications.
Fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
