About:
A leading food production company is seeking an experienced leader to join their team as a Production Supervisor. In this role, you will monitor the daily operations of their state-of-the-art production line and supervise manufacturing operations.
The Production Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the production team
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide coaching and supervision to hourly production employees
- Manage KPI performances
- Collaborate with other department leaders
The Production Supervisor will have the following qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in food processing or food production settings
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, food science or related field is a plus
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Six Sigma Certifications a plus
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques
- Ability to identify production errors and make corrections
- HAACP training / certification preferred
