Product & Project Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Product & Project Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on managing engineering projects and supporting the development of new products, specifically within the steering wheel and rims/wheels segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, product development, and engineering processes, ensuring successful execution from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects related to new product development for steering wheels and rims/wheels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to drive projects to completion.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials and components meet specifications.
- Utilize engineering principles to design, test, and validate new products and improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for product-related issues.
- Ensure all projects align with industry regulations and company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product development, project management, or engineering within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of steering wheel, rims/wheel design, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and project management tools.
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and APQP methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage projects and cross-functional team
