We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our quality management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and investment casting, with a proven ability to implement quality control processes that ensure our products meet the highest industry standards. The position is based in Hillsborough County, NH, and the company offers relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain strategic plans, policies and procedures at all levels to ensure that the quality control program will meet or exceed internal and external customer's needs and expectations.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives, including the creation of quality plans, inspection protocols, and corrective action processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define and optimise manufacturing processes to improve product quality.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor quality assurance staff and other employees on quality best practices and procedures.
- Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with customers and regulatory bodies, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure material quality and compliance with specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management and investment casting technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, specifically in investment casting.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with aerospace and automotive industry standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and solve complex quality issues.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
