Quality Manager
Job Summary: The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance and control processes within our metal processing operations. This role ensures that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality professionals and work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control systems and processes.
- Lead and manage the quality team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and products.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality processes, procedures, and standards.
- Manage customer complaints and work to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within the metal processing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
