DSJ Global is currently partnered with a large Metals Manufacture looking to add a Quality Manager to their fast growing operations. This position will oversee and enhance all facets of the sites Quality Management Systems, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Compliance. Your mission will be to elevate established systems to a world-class standard by proactively identifying and mitigating risks and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance our Quality Management System, ensuring it covers all processes within Phoenix and proactively addresses risks.
- Develop strategies to improve Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to implement risk mitigation and process improvements.
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 standards, ITAR, FARs, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead efforts to transition our robust existing QMS into a best-in-class system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years in Quality Management Systems (QMS) with a strong background in ISO 9001 and AS9100. Proven track record in transforming QMS to be more proactive and effective.
- Direct experience in a job-shop environment with a focus on metal stamping and familiarity with job specifications and external services is ideal but not required.
- Expertise in blueprint reading, GD&T,
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Higher education or professional accolades in Quality Management or related fields is a plus.
