A leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Regional Sales Director. You will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives and driving business growth within assigned district accounts. This role involves achieving sales and gross margin targets, fostering and expanding profitable orders, identifying and cultivating new customers, and generating new profitable business.
Responsibilities for the Regional Sales Director:
- Lead and manage the regional sales team to exceed targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, monitor metrics, and coach the team.
- Ability to develop account management plans and strategies for profitable growth.
- Stay informed about customer and market developments.
- Support corporate customers and district accounts.
- Manage district accounts for profitable growth.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering for customer solutions.
- Communicate with Account Managers on quality and delivery issues.
- Assist the credit department with receivables.
- Set sales and profitability targets for all accounts.
Requirements for the Regional Sales Director:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 7-10 years of Sales experience, with at least 5+ years being in a leadership role.
- Proven record of securing high-value new business, expanding key accounts, and managing district sales.
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies for the OEM market.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills & customer service orientation.
