We are seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager to lead our S&OP process. The S&OP Manager will play a critical role in aligning sales forecasts with production, inventory, and supply chain capabilities to meet customer demand while optimizing operational efficiency and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the Sales and Operations Planning process to integrate sales forecasts, production plans, inventory targets, and supply chain strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather inputs, assess demand signals, and reconcile conflicting priorities.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to generate accurate demand forecasts and identify demand drivers.
- Lead regular S&OP meetings to review demand plans, production schedules, inventory levels, and supply constraints, and make necessary adjustments to achieve alignment.
- Drive consensus on demand and supply plans, identify gaps and risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and production efficiency, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance collaboration and communication across the supply chain.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market dynamics related to S&OP, and recommend innovative solutions to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or related roles in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in S&OP processes, principles, and methodologies, such as IBP (Integrated Business Planning), CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment), or similar frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus in a matrix organization.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, demand planning tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise software is a plus.
- Certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP), IBF (CPF, ACPF), or similar credentials is desirable.
