As a Sales Manager, your mission will be to spearhead sales strategies that reinforce our client's market presence while establishing robust relationships throughout the Finnish territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate new customer partnerships through assertive outreach.
- Design and execute compelling sales initiatives tailored towards Road Freight & Commercial Logistics sectors.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Lead negotiations ensuring profitable deals aligning with corporate objectives.
- Generate and qualify leads of potential new customers.
- Develop and nurture leads/opportunities generated.
- Plan, prepare, and conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with potential new customers.
- Involve and align with all relevant internal stakeholders, e.g., Customer Service and Product, during the sales process.
- Ensure high-quality handover/onboarding of customers with Customer Service.
- Share market insights with colleagues, contributing to the development of pricing structures.
- Support Tender Management in creating competitive responses to tenders.
- Maintain CRM accuracy at all times.
- Prepare regular sales and market reports, including sales activities and pipeline.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences as needed.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in road freight operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial logistics and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in third-party logistics (3PL).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities.
- Effective and inspirational communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch and Russian is a plus.
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages & CRM.

- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales within freight forwarding or a similar field.
