As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in our procurement strategy by identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with key suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the company's goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best possible terms for the company.
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of materials.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Analyse and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
