The organisation is undergoing a digital transformation to optimise its supply chain processes and enhance decision-making through an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager IBP to lead the successful implementation and ongoing management of the company's IBP initiatives. This is a critical role that will enable the organisation to achieve operational excellence by improving forecasting, planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the IBP process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including time lines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage cross-functional teams across supply chain, sales, finance, marketing, and IT to ensure seamless IBP integration.
- Oversee external consultants and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
IBP Implementation & Process Ownership
- Drive the design and implementation of an IBP framework that aligns demand, supply, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure integration of systems and tools to support real-time data visibility and decision-making.
- Standardise IBP processes across business units to enhance collaboration and consistency.
- Act as a champion for IBP best practices, embedding a culture of continuous improvement in planning processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure buy-in and alignment on the IBP vision and goals.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure a smooth transition to the new planning processes.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to build IBP capability across the organisation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between commercial, supply chain, and financial plans.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the IBP process and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and analytics to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure alignment between business plans and financial targets through robust scenario planning and risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), or related planning processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and ERP/IBP systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Oracle).
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and financial planning.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and driving change within complex organisations.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
