Job Title: Site Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Engineering Projects & Standards Compliance: Lead and support engineering capital projects and ad-hoc business projects, ensuring compliance with statutory standards, company engineering standards, and site infrastructure strategies.
- Governance & Risk Management: Oversee engineering governance, service partner performance, risk mitigation plans, and compliance with safety, engineering, and EHS standards through data reviews, audits, and improvement programs.
- Operational Leadership: Act as a technical authority, driving continuous improvement in energy optimization, engineering alerts, and EHS programs. Deputize for the Site Operations Manager and represent the site in forums when needed.
- Sustainability & Efficiency: Implement energy-saving projects and operational improvements to enhance sustainability, while ensuring service providers meet engineering and compliance standards.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and daily technical operations while ensuring adherence to Good Engineering Practices, statutory requirements, and engineering standards.
What were looking for:
- Pharmaceutical Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in facility operations, technical support, and GMP environments, with strong knowledge of lab equipment, clean rooms, and full facility management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HVAC systems, power generators, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers, with a proven ability to manage building infrastructure and facilities engineering.
- Vendor & Service Partner Management: Demonstrated capability to independently manage vendor relationships and govern external service partners effectively.
- Education & Communication: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German (minimum C1 level).
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Displays understanding of Research & Development processes, GxP requirements, and facilities management in pharmaceutical or R&D settings.
