Summary:
A global leader in Food and Beverage Manufacturing is looking to bring on a Site Engineering Manager to confront challenges and take initiative to increase quality and productivity. Planning and development will be key duties in this role while working on capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects. Minor travel to other plants occasionally will also be expected.
The ideal Site Engineering Manager will have the following requirements and skill sets:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related stem fields
- At least 4 years of project management experience
- Well-versed in USDA, FDA, and other regulations
- Experience in food and beverage or other related industries
- Familiar with automation, mechanical, and related trades
The Site Engineering Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Plan and develop initiatives to increase automation, utilization and efficiency
- Actively collaborate with other Plant Managers and departments to meet plant and project needs
- Contributes to the development and analysis of capital budgets, goals, and objectives, striving to meet or exceed expectations.
- Plans and manages projects to ensure efficient production methods, optimal space and equipment utilization, and compliance with schedule, cost, and quality standards.
- Support and participate in plant management and initiatives where needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating, organizing, and carrying out administrative duties
