Job Title: Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing
Location: Greater Boston, MA (Hybrid 3x per week in office)
Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing, you will lead the development and execution of IT sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive sustainable sourcing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company goals.
Manage the sourcing process, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and establish criteria for supplier evaluation.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration and innovation.
Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Prepare and present sourcing strategies and performance reports to the senior leadership team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience leading teams and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
