Seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Strategic Sourcing Manager at a chemical manufacturing company in Dover, Ohio. As part of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for leading procurement strategies that drive cost savings while optimizing supplier performance across multiple categories.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 10+ years' experience with strategic sourcing within the chemicals industry
- Strong analytical skills including spend analysis and cost modeling
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
Skills Required:
Strategic Sourcing - The candidate must have extensive knowledge about how best practices can result in lower costs without compromising on quality.
Procurement Strategies - Experience developing effective procurement strategies based on market trends and financial analysis.
Supplier Relationship Management- Building strong relationships with suppliers leads to better pricing options as well as higher quality products which ultimately benefits both parties involved.
Data Analysis & Translation- Must possess excellent analytical abilities along with being able to identify key findings from large amounts of complex data.
Responsibilities:
