The strategic sourcing procurement manager will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and execute packaging procurement strategies to support the company's short- and long-term goals, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams, and external partners.
- Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing, negotiations, re-engineering specifications, and exploring multi-year or single sourcing opportunities.
- Lead procurement initiatives, including tenders, supplier selection, contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and risk management strategies in alignment with business needs.
- Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement for key categories, ensuring spend management KPIs are met and contracts are in place.
- Propose innovative projects and solutions to enhance efficiency, revenue, EBITDA, and capital expenditures through value-creating strategies and case studies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience within procurement
- Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Direct procurement experience is desired
