OVERVIEW The Strategic Sourcing Specialist plays a crucial role in developing and executing the supply chain strategy by utilizing strong sourcing and procurement practices, effective collaboration, and communication skills. This role is responsible for developing suppliers and leading critical negotiations
JOB DUTIES
- Develop deep knowledge of assigned indirect categories and create sourcing strategies considering market trends, business objectives, and TCO.
- Analyze costs to develop cost reduction strategies.
- Ensure suppliers meet performance expectations and procurement strategies, establishing crucial supplier partnerships.
- Lead and manage RFI and RFP processes, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
- Negotiate agreements with key suppliers, considering cost, supply terms, service, and quality.
- Identify and escalate critical external relationships affecting the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with sourcing and procurement policies and best practices.
- Design and implement efficient procurement processes and tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (Required).
- 4+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for people and hospitality.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with the ability to address key stakeholder needs.
