Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Suffolk County, New York
Type: Full-Time, Exempt, On-site (with the ability to work from home one day per week)
About the Role: This position is responsible for the design, development and utilization of quantitative analytical models of our supply chain processes and systems. These models will be used to provide decision support to our Supply Chain management organization to improve customer service, inventory performance and overall supply chain capability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative analysis to optimize inventory utilization
- Design and develop mathematical decision-support models
- Work closely with various departments to define business needs and design innovative solutions
- Provide support for various quantitative and statistical analyses
- Manage project teams towards the implementation of innovative supply chain solutions
- Maintain documentation associated with all data modeling/processes
- Participate as a team member and team leader of Interdepartmental Project teams
- Participate in Application Development project teams
Qualifications:
- Expertise with data analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and Power BI
- Experience with materials management
- Excellent presentation skills utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in inventory or supply chain management environment
- SQL, VBA and Microsoft Power BI and data warehousing are required
- APICS certification is a plus
- Demonstrated experience building and applying mathematical modeling techniques (optimization, simulation, statistical analysis)
- Experience with Continuous Process Improvement techniques (Lean, Six-Sigma)
