This role ensures compliance, safety, and operational efficiency of critical systems such as steam generation, HVAC, compressed air, and water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Boiler & Utility Management:
Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of large-scale boilers and critical utilities. Ensure efficient steam generation, minimal downtime, and compliance with regulations.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, FDA, EPA) and maintain documentation for inspections, audits, and certifications related to boiler systems and other utilities.Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of utility engineers and technicians. Provide technical guidance and ensure safe, efficient operations.Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to improve utility system performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. Implement best practices and cost-saving measures.Emergency Response & Contingency Planning:
Develop and execute emergency response plans for utility failures, particularly for boilers and steam systems, to minimize production impact.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Additional certifications in boiler operations are a plus.Experience:
7-10 years in critical utilities management, with significant experience in large-scale boilers in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.Skills:
Strong expertise in boiler systems, utility operations, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance. Leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
